Food insecurity affects 800 million people globally, including 17 million households in every county in America. Experts in many fields have called upon organizations to find new ways to address this serious and sometimes invisible issue. is a response to this call. There are pay-what-you-can community cafes operating across the United States, and even more in the planning stages. Giving Back community cafes serve love through 4,000 meals a day, or over 1.4 million meals a year, in both nonprofit and for-profit restaurant settings. We are eager and ready to help you start a pay-what-you-can cafe in your town. Partnership Our strength lies in our partnerships, memberships, and communities. We seek individual and corporate sponsors to support our existing and start-up cafes. What We Value Pay What You Can Healthy, dignified dining is available to everyone who walks into our cafes, including the nearly 50 million people in America who are experiencing food insecurity, utilizing social programs, and who don’t know where their next meal will come from. LOCAL, SEASONAL, & ORGANIC FOOD Part of honoring our guests involves purchasing and preparing healthy ingredients and supporting local farmers. Many of our chefs are professionally trained experts with experience in high-end and mainstream restaurants. A Seat for Everyone Food has the power to bring people together. Our guests are invited to dine with us privately at their own table or at a community table. Sharing a meal builds healthy communities, and healthy communities make a better world.
